WOMEN'S HOUSE
50th BIRTHDAY
In 2025, Women’s House reached 50 years. To commemorate this occasion, we hosted an exhibition showcasing the archives of 50 years of collective feminist resistance, honouring the work of Women’s House workers and survivors of violence. You can now view the exhibition in the virtual tour below.
The above banner features artwork by survivors of sexual and/or domestic violence in collaboration with Chantay Link, a Gooreng Gooreng and Kabi Kabi Brisbane Black. It holds 50 people, representing the fifty years of WCAA. The woven people are all different, and so are we. You can view the finished piece in the virtual exhibition.
